The City Information Centre (CIC) is the start point for walking tours led by qualified City of London Guides every day of the week.
The CIC is a somewhat angular building situated across the road just south of St Paul’s Cathedral.
It is at the junction twixt Carter Lane and Godliman Street. Mansion House and St Paul’s Underground Stations are nearby as are Cannon Street and City Thameslink railway stations. Note that City Thameslink is closed on Sunday.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT DIRECTIONS
Cannon Street railway/underground station: exit on to Cannon Street, turn left/west and you’ll see St Paul’s in the distance. Keep going, you’ll arrive on the south side of the Cathedral whence the CIC is visible.
City Thameslink railway station: take the Ludgate Hill exit. Turn right/east on exit towards St Pauls. Stay on the same side of the road and the CIC is a few minutes walk.
St Paul’s tube: head for the Cathedral, walk round it clockwise and as you come to the other side you’ll see the CIC across the road.
Mansion House underground: Not the easiest to direct from as so many exits. Walk was along Cannon Street. You’ll see St Paul’s in the distance. Arriving by the cathedral you’ll be at at or opposite the CIC.
